So while perusing the daily addiction of mine that is dlisted, I stumbled upon this little diddy about JLo ordering "designer" hospital gowns to wear while she's giving birth

@ first I thought, "Oh Geez". But then the more I got to thinking about it, it started to make a helluva lot of sense. I mean, do any of us really relish being in those nasty used hospital gowns? I know I don't! And to have one in a pleasing cute color would make for great "right after" pictures - you know, after the fight of umpteen hours of labor and who knows how many pushes - you always get your picture taken with your newborn.. Probably THE MOST unglamourous picture you will ever have taken of yourself, so why not have a *lil'* something going for you in the appearance department?
So that's why I'm going ahead and ordering my own with a matching robe (I need a new lightweight robe anyway - it'll be summer time). You can get the same ones from dearjohnnies.com
Apparently they've been mentioned in a bunch of publications and magazines so JLo sure ain't the first or last.. But anyway, it's a novel idea.. Glad I stumbled upon it - Thanks MichaelK!
